American Girl Benefit Sale

Tomorrow is the American Girl Benefit Sale where all the proceeds go towards the Children's Museum. So unless you live in the same state as me you probably have no clue what I'm talking about. Well my readers this is a HUGE sale of American Girl clothes, accessories, dolls, furniture, and other AG stuff. Everything goes like half price frost the catalog prices! Unfortunately if you don't get there reeeaaally early whatever you want will be sold out by the time you actually get into the building.  They only let 100 people in at a time. So me, my sister, and my mom will be getting up at 1:00 A.M!!!!!! The last time we did this was like two years ago. But like all the people go CRAZY!!! The minute you walk through the doors everyone like stampedes to the dolls. Last time there was a girl probably like eight or so who had a whole garbage bag full of dolls! Wish me luck folks!

ARGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UGH! I made yet another bad buy. Well on June 15th was my birthday and from one of my friends I got a Walmart gift card. So I was going around Walmart and I see this Singer (that's the brand)knitting machine! All you have to do is put yarn in it and turn a crank around and around and it knits for you! Even better it was on sale for 7 dollars when it was originally 20! So I got it. When I got home I immediately took it out and started using it. So I tried and tried but I could not make a single thing that wasn't full of holes because the stupid machine kept skipping stiches. I tried all evening and the morning of the next day but still nothing. So I decided that I am just going to return that darn machine and get my money back! Anyway on that happy note I have some announcements. First I have over 300 views on my blog!!!!! Yay for that! Second I am holding a writing contest on one of my other blogs. Serious Stuff

Have you ever wished you were different? Maybe you wish you were prettier or smarter or  cooler. Maybe you have some sort of illness or problem with your body that you wish you could get rid of. I wish I was differnet pretty much on a daily basis. I wish I was prettier and cooler and I wish my blog was more popular. Sometimes I am my own bully. If you feel that way please tell me.

Chapter 2

Lee Harvey Oswald

Of all the things that could happen today it has to be bystander that ruins my plan. Oswald thought. Oswald was raging. Karina was pale and frightened. “Umm I think I’ll go now….” Karina stammered.  

“Oh you ain't gonna go anywhere Ms. Johnson,” Oswald said forcefully. “As a matter of fact I think you might just be comin’ with me. “ Oswald’s new plan was risky but if he let Karina go she might go blabbing to the police. “Girl you come here or I might just have to come and get you,” Oswald said. Karina did move but it wasn't toward him. She ran to the door. With one swift movement Oswald pulled out the shotgun that had murdered the president. “One more movement Karina and you can go see your beloved president again. “

Karina froze that time. Good. All is going as I planned. We’ll get out of here and I’ll head to that abandoned cabin up by the lake. Oswald grabbed Karina by the hood of her hoodie and tied her arms and legs together. “If you make any attempt to escape from me I will make sure that the next time your mom sees you you won’t be breathing. Are we clear?” Oswald demanded. He didn't even have to see her nod her head to know that they were.

    Chapter 1

Day 1

Karina

In one short day Karina’s life changed forever. That one day was November 22, 1963. In other words the day President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was shot and killed. Karina  is a normal girl who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Her secret is: she could have saved President Kennedy.

    Karina Johnson was 13 and lived in Dallas, Texas with her mother Andrea Johnson. Andrea works at at the Texas School Book Depository. She worked on the sixth floor. Karina was outside the building because it gave an excellent view of the motorcade that would be coming down the street any minute. There were lots of police and lots and lots of spectators. Then Karina saw the president’s car coming. She ran upstairs to get her mother so that she could see the president too. Karina ran up the stairs as fast as her leather boots could carry her. When she got there her mother wasn’t there. But her mom’s co-worker Mr. Lee Harvey Oswald was. She stifled a scream when she saw him. She wasn’t screaming because he was ugly or scary. Well at least he usually wasn’t scary. At this particular time though he was. That was because he was holding a gun and pointing it at the oncoming motorcade. Karina stood there frozen as Oswald pulled the trigger. Then Karina let out the scream she had been holding along with the people in the crowd. But her scream was a mix of disbelief, rage and most of all: regret. I practically killed the president! she thought. Then Oswald turned around.
